Remote Project and Scheduling Coordinator LATAM.

HOURS: Monday through Friday 11 am – 7 pm EST**

As a Project and Scheduling Coordinator you will:

Manage administrative and operational duties to support our clients globally. This is a key customer interfacing role and ideal for bilingual professionals with experience living overseas and with a multicultural background. We are looking for someone who wants to make career and grow at ACSI, with high levels of attention to detail and able to provide solutions. Organization skills are a must. This position will allow you to work remotely. Among the main responsibilities of this position, you will:

  • Scope job costs for clients
  • Maintain the appointment schedule, taking all incoming requests for interpreting services
  • Provide Customer/Vendor service (communication via mail-phone)
  • Assign and schedule interpreting events
  • Resolve scheduling conflicts for interpreting services
  • Control the Quality Assurance process (make sure that all services are delivered according to our standards)
  • Maintain assignments costs in the system
  • Manage linguists and recruit newly qualified interpreters
  • Submit weekly and monthly reports to the Billing Team
  • Manage and recruit newly qualified linguists (interpreters).
  • Follow the Team Lead’s instructions and perform tasks accordingly

REQUIREMENTS TO HAVE SUCCESS AT THIS POSITION: 

  • BA in Communication, Management or Business Administration (knowledge of the interpretation industry is an asset)
  • Proven experience in coordination positions (3+ years)
  • Native or near native level of fluency in English. Native Spanish speaker. A third language will be considered an asset
  • Ability to work under pressure and solve last-minute issues before and during interpreting assignments

  • Flexibility to collaborate/support interpreting assignments during non-business hours
  • Flexibility to work on-call on a need basis, usually with short notice, to carry out working duties
  • Seek Team Lead’s support for difficult interpreting situations and follow instructions

SKILLS CONSIDERED AN ASSET BUT NOT MANDATORY:
Ability to collaborate/support other ACSI departments (Translation, Customer Service and/or Billing), when required
Knowledge and ability to work with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
CRM Knowledge
